Quality Biological, Inc. (QBI), has been part of the Gaithersburg, Maryland BioHealth Capital Region for 30+ years. Being rewarded with various grants, funding opportunities, and professional connections here in the community, we attribute much of our success to our location. We make it a priority to give back whenever possible by actively supporting the local community through our support of local charities and by nurturing close industry partnerships.

Quality Biological, Inc. is dedicated to actively supporting the local community through donations to local charities and close industry partnerships.

We attribute much of our success to the Montgomery County community that has been our home since we opened our doors. We make it a priority to give back whenever possible.

Charity

Quality Biological, Inc., proudly contribute 5 percent of profits annually. This year donations were made to the following nonprofit organizations:

The Children’s Inn at NIH, a residential “Place Like Home’’ for families with children participating in leading-edge research studies at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

 

Shelton Leadership, founded in 2002, helps develop the next generation of values-based leaders. The Shelton Leadership Center outreach programs focus on intergenerational values-based leadership development within NC State University and corporate, governmental, educational, non-profit, and youth development organizations.

Manna Food Center, seeks to eliminate hunger in Montgomery County, Maryland. Through food distribution, education, and advocacy, Manna is making strides on behalf of more than 63,000 county residents who experience hunger and food insecurity.

Ruesch Center for the Cure of Gastrointestinal Cancers at Georgetown Lombardi Cancer Center, combines expertise in molecular medicine, translational research, and a patient-centered philosophy to achieve individualized curative therapies through research, care, and advocacy.

 

Equal Justice Initiative, (EJI), is committed to ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the U.S., challenging racial and economic injustice, and protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society.

Greater DC-Maryland Chapter, Multiple Sclerosis Society, works to improve the quality of life for people affected by MS in Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C., and raising funds for critical MS research, and ultimately ending the disease.

Operation Second Chance, is dedicated to serving wounded, injured and ill Veterans; and supporting Veterans and their families by building relationships and identifying and supporting immediate needs and interests. The organization promotes public awareness of the many sacrifices made by our Armed Forces.
