LB Agar Plates with Ampicillin are used for the growth and maintenance of E. coli strains used in molecular microbiology procedures.
Applications
The following variations of LB Agar Plates are nutritionally rich media designed for growth of pure cultures of recombinant strains. LB Agar plates are suitable for propagation of E. coli and other bacteriological stocks. Added antibiotic allows for the selection of those bacteria with antibiotic resistance.
