Description
DEPC Treated Water is Ultra Pure and prepared by reverse osmosis, passed through fine carbon, de-ionized through two resin beds and serially filtered 1µm positively charged membranes. The water is subsequently treated with 0.1% (v/v) DEPC (Diethylpyrocarbonate) and incubated and heated overnight at 37°C. Finally, DEPC Treated Water is filtered through a 0.1 µm filter.
- DNase, RNase and Protease tested
Applications
DEPC Treated Water can be used to reconstitute nucleic acids and/or proteins. In addition, it can be used as a diluent or solvent for any molecular biology grade reagent. DEPC Treated Water may be usefully employed in:
- • RNA Applications (e.g., preparations of an RNA probe)
• DNA Applications (e.g., subcloning in pUC plasmids)
• Protein Applications (e.g., Western Blotting)
